Hello, I’m Airlie Wedemeyer, Founder and CEO of MyPeriodPal
In 2010 I took my first post as an international educator- over the years I taught in Africa, Asia and Europe, including 2 third-world countries where I thought I could do the most good.
The most sentimental of times was the two years I spent as a teacher at a Korean school in Pampanga, Philippines. That’s where I gave birth to my son.
After a few months, I was having menstrual cramps, but still breastfeeding so I couldn’t take pain medicine. A Korean colleague motioned to my ankle and said “press here” and when I did, all of my cramps and leg pain subsided immediately!
What she had taught me utilized the uterus pressure point through reflexology.
I couldn’t spend all day bent down pressing my ankle, so I constructed a device to keep the pressure applied and MyPeriodPal was born!
It is my mission to help women who suffer, just like you.
Thank you!
